EVENTS OF THE YEAR

Here you'll be able to see what events we've done during the 2020-2021 school year!

CARDS FOR MOTHERS

This was a collaboration with the New Moms Project. As a club, we wrote letters in Spanish (250 word min) and sent them to be delivered to new moms as a way of providing them encouragement and love during the pandemic.

CARDS FOR FOSTER CARE CHILDREN

As a club, we created handmade cards to deliver to children in the foster care system.

THANKSGIVING DRIVE DONATIONS

We collected monetary donations in order to send to families in need over the Thanksgiving holiday through the school.

CHRISTMAS DRIVE

We received donations from our club members and used the money in order to buy goods. Using these goods, we created donations boxes and personally deliver them to Hispanic families in the community who are in need over the Christmas holiday. We were able to feed 6 families this year!

SUPPORTING LOCAL BUSINESSES

Every week of February there will be a new local restaurant to support! Evidence must be provided that you ordered food from the restaurant (i.e. a receipt, you in the restaurant, a picture of the purchased food). The restaurants include: El Columbiano (week 1), La Perla (week 2), Entretapas (week 3), and Yum Korea (week 4).
